The Spot
Teka Molino has been part of San Antonio's Tex-Mex landscape since 1937, built on a menu that centers puffy tacos, bean and guacamole cups, beef enchiladas, and beef fajitas. The restaurant describes everything as made from scratch, and it's earned a loyal following across the city over more than 85 years in business.

What started as a single spot has grown into three locations: the original on San Pedro Avenue, a second on Rittiman Road, and a stall inside Make Ready Food Hall downtown. The Rittiman Road location is the only one serving alcoholic beverages alongside the regular menu.

Teka Molino's puffy taco appeared on Netflix's Taco Chronicles in its second season, putting a spotlight on a dish the restaurant has served since its earliest days.
