Harp & Crown occupies a fully renovated space on Sansom Street between 15th and 16th, the work of Michael Schulson and the Schulson Collective. The ground floor plays old-world grandeur against modern texture: a glass façade, 24-foot ceilings, and four chandeliers set alongside funky vintage wallpaper, leather club chairs, and millwork in natural tones. A 32-seat bar anchors the room, with a new-American menu built on seasonal ingredients and global cuisines.
Below the main floor, previously unused space became Elbow Lane — a cocktail bar, lounge, and two-lane bowling alley serving the same full menu in a much moodier setting. It's a different register entirely from the light-filled room upstairs, hidden within the same building.
Regulars point to the weekend brunch buffet as a particular draw, and the space's scale and polish make it a common choice for special occasions despite the price. Small plates and shared dishes run through the menu, fitting a room built for groups as much as for date night.
