The Spot
Palm Beach Meats sits on South Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach's Southside, describing itself as Florida's only all-Wagyu retail shop and restaurant — a fast-casual dining room built alongside a butcher counter selling cuts from Japan, Australia, and the U.S. Founded in 2020 by husband-and-wife team Eric and Meghan San Pedro, the family-owned concept has since expanded to a second location in Orlando's SoDo district. Executive Chef BJ Wright leads the kitchen.

The business holds certification from the Kobe Beef Marketing & Distribution Promotion Association, making it one of the few U.S. businesses authorized to sell Certified Kobe Beef as a retailer, wholesale supplier, and restaurant.

Regulars talk about the quality of the wagyu, even as newer visitors have sometimes run into the growing pains that can come with a small operation drawing outsized attention. Michelin awarded Palm Beach Meats a Bib Gourmand in its 2026 guide, and The Palm Beaches named it a best new restaurant for 2025.
