The Spot
Yak and Yeti opened in 2017 at 3150 B Jefferson Street in Napa, run by owners who are Sherpas originally from the Mt. Everest region. The menu draws on recipes connected to that heritage, including dishes tied to the routes trekkers follow toward Everest Base Camp, set alongside Indian and Tibetan cooking.

A tandoor oven anchors the kitchen, turning out naan, kabobs, and chicken tikka masala. Momos — handmade Tibetan dumplings filled with meat or vegetables — are prepared using traditional methods and have built a following among regulars, along with the samosas.

The dining room keeps things simple and cozy, with service that regulars describe as friendly and welcoming, and a vegetarian selection that draws its own praise.
