Pasta Prego is a neighborhood Italian restaurant on Main Street in downtown Napa, run by chef and owner Marco Ruiz, who brings decades of experience in Napa Valley kitchens to the stove. His daughter, Lorena Ruiz, is also part of the kitchen team.
The menu runs through familiar Italian-American comfort dishes: Chicken Marsala, Spaghetti Bolognese, Veal Piccata, Pasta Diablo, and a Linguine with prawns, mussels, and clams, alongside a Crispy Calamari starter and a 14oz Grilled Rib-Eye Steak. Meals open with a signature bread served warm alongside a garlic and balsamic dipping oil.
Napa Valley Life included Pasta Prego on its list of "Pasta Poetry" spots, a nod from the local press to the restaurant's place in the downtown Napa dining scene.
