The Spot
Mancini's Char House has operated on West Seventh since 1948, family owned and operated for more than 70 years and four generations. The restaurant runs on a supper-club format — steaks, classic cocktails, and a room built for regulars who treat the place as a fixture of St. Paul dining.

Live music is a regular part of the operation. The Midas Touch, billed as America's house band, plays the lounge on a recurring schedule, and The Goombas, featuring Pat Mancini, perform there as well.

The restaurant also runs its own Hall of Fame, inducting St. Paul-area athletes and coaches each year across categories including baseball, basketball, hockey, football, and boxing, alongside special awards — a tradition that ties the restaurant to the city's sports history as much as its dining room.
