Housewife occupies a cozy loft space in Grandview, done up in black-and-white checkered tile with dark green curtains and plants filling out the room, R&B playing over the sound system. The menu runs breakfast and lunch: avocado toast, a bacon gouda breakfast sandwich, house-made bagels including a BEC, a rotating breakfast burrito, a California bagel sandwich, smoked salmon toast, and a croissant breakfast sandwich, alongside chia seed pudding and granola parfait. A bakery case turns over daily with croissants, cookies, scones, and muffins that change with the seasons, plus a different cake special every Thursday.
