Fork and Plough operates as three things under one roof in Historic Overbrook: a casual restaurant, a butcher counter selling fresh-cut beef and pork meant to be cooked at home, and a small market stocked with grab-and-go meals, local cheeses, produce, and craft beer and wine. The kitchen sources ingredients from local and regional producers and changes its menu twice daily, so the lineup shifts even as favorites like the burger, deviled eggs, catfish, pork belly, and vegetable plate keep reappearing. Shiitake dishes, cannoli, and ice cream also turn up often in what regulars order.
Weekend brunch has become the restaurant's signature service, alongside a reputation as a reliable stop for an after-work cocktail. The space doubles as an event and catering venue for the neighborhood, on top of its daily service.
TOWN Carolina named Fork and Plough one of its city magazine favorites for 2026.
