The Spot
Medora sits on Frankford Road in Far North Dallas, working from a Mediterranean menu with a clear Turkish accent. Cold and hot appetizers cover familiar mezze ground — hummus, baba ghanoush, haydari, stuffed grape leaves — alongside Turkish specifics like cigar borek, mücver, and grilled halloumi with soujouk.

Main courses lean on the grill: Adana and Beyti kebabs, chicken and beef shish, lamb chops, and a lamb shank served over roasted eggplant purée. Ali Nazik pairs lamb tenderloin with smoky eggplant, while branzino and grilled salmon cover the seafood side. Mixed grill platters are built for sharing, scaled for two to three people or four to six.

Desserts stay in the same register, with kunefe and baklava alongside Turkish coffee and tea. Diners have pointed to the grilled meats and the kitchen's care with allergies and dietary requests as recurring reasons to come back.
