Sapori Italian Roots traces back to 2019, when it started as Sapori's Italian Food Trailer on S 1st Street. The concept moved into a permanent home in Downtown Austin in the summer of 2023, carrying over recipes drawn from the founders' family roots in Calabria, Italy, and the Bronx, New York.
The menu leans into traditional Italian flavors in a fast-casual downtown format, aiming to work for both a quick lunch and a full dinner out. Beyond the dining room, Sapori also offers catering for private events and gatherings.
