Nan Xiang Express brings the Flushing, Queens xiao long bao specialist to Mueller in a quick-service format built for pop-in orders and delivery. The original Flushing restaurant built its name among New Yorkers on soup dumplings, and this location extends that into a multi-city footprint that now includes Austin.
The menu centers on xiao long bao — traditionally pork, with crab meat, chicken, and mala beef versions also on offer. Beyond the dumplings, the kitchen turns out Shanghainese comfort food: crispy bottom buns, pork potstickers, scallion pancakes, braised beef noodle soup, and Shanghai stir-fried noodles.
