Five Vietnamese spots clear our bar in Portland. No stars yet, but the badges are real.
HA VL Vietnamese Noodle Soup in the Jade District carries a James Beard Semifinalist 2024 nod at $ prices, and The Paper Bridge in Buckman landed on the NYT Restaurant List 2025. Round out the list with Memoire Cà Phê on Alberta, Rangoon Bistro in North Portland, and Rose VL Deli in Southeast — all Damn Good, all worth the trip. Nothing here has broken into our top tiers yet, but the recognition is already showing up.
