Kochix works out of a pickup window at 400 Florida Ave NW in Truxton Circle — counter-service, no dine-in room. The focus is double-fried Korean wings and drumsticks, sized larger than the standard wing-shop portion, tossed to order in one of five house sauces: Honey Mild, Honey Hot, Soy Garlic, Honey Lemon Pepper, and Honey Old-Bay, which layers DC's own seasoning tradition onto a Korean glaze.
The menu extends past wings into a broader chicken-bar lineup: bulgogi bap, Philly-style beef and chicken cheesesteaks, a cheeseburger combo, fish and shrimp baskets, and fried sides like Korean dumplings and mozzarella sticks. Party packs — including a 40-piece jumbo wing pack spanning all five sauces — are built for group orders.
Regulars have made the Honey Lemon Pepper wings the shop's calling card, drawn back by a crispy, moist texture that's become the thing Kochix is known for around DC.
