Tommy's Hideaway is a wood-fired pizza and pub tucked away on Beach Boulevard in Gulfport, opened in 2023 by Tom and Larisa Lussiano after decades in corporate restaurant management, including stints with Olive Garden, Outback Steakhouse, and Tom's role as Vice President at Miller's Ale House. A trip to Italy left them convinced Neapolitan-style pizza was worth building a life around, and they imported a ceramic wood-burning oven from California, fired to 750–800°F, to make it happen on their own, without corporate backing.
The menu centers on wood-fired pies, headlined by Larisa's White Clam pizza — chopped clams, mozzarella, asiago, and pecorino romano with a lemon wedge — alongside Nana's Meatball Ricotta, a Reuben pizza, and a burrata pie with fresh tomato and basil.
