Nicko's Pizza and Subs is a family-run pizza and sub shop built on the cooking of Nick Sr., whose Chicago and New York influences his son Nick now carries forward with his wife and co-founder, Erin Faraone. Pies come out of a slate oven, cooked to order, alongside a sub menu anchored by a Chicago-style Italian Beef that sells out every week with both transplants and Florida natives.
The rest of the menu leans into comfort food: jumbo meatballs in marinara, cheesy garlic toast, wings in a housemade sauce, and pizzas built with extras like housemade chicken tenders. It's a laid-back, order-at-the-counter kind of place, with beer, wine, and cocktails on hand to go with the slices.
