Susie's is a counter-service restaurant in Richmond's Fan neighborhood, serving Jewish and Mediterranean deli food — sandwiches, salads, and soups — alongside coffee from local roaster Recluse, cocktails, beer, and a rotating natural wine list. There's indoor seating as well as a patio.
The restaurant is named for Susie, the grandmother of owner and chef Yael Cantor, who has described food as a language of love learned from her grandmothers' cooking — matzo ball soup on one side, couscous for Shabbat dinner on the other.
