The Spot
Lolita's describes itself as a space built around corn — tortillas hand-pressed in house, following a process the owners say was taught within the family and rooted in the land. The restaurant frames its food as a reinterpretation of Mexican traditions passed down through generations, from first-generation Mexican-American owners.

The menu runs from tacos (asada, al pastor, suadero, carnitas) to crudos like tuna tostadas and salmon tiradito, tortas built on sourdough, and quesadillas made with the same hand-pressed tortillas. A breakfast lineup includes huevos rancheros and chilaquiles poblanos, and desserts lean into regional touches like tres leches and pan de elote. The bar side runs its own cocktail program, with recurring specials like Wine Down Wednesday and Oyster-tini Thursdays.

Set in Carytown, Lolita's has built a following for its food and its bar program alike.
