The Company Burger has anchored Freret Street since 2011, running an in-house operation from the ground up: patties ground and formed from all-natural, hormone- and antibiotic-free prime beef, buns and pickles made from scratch, and fries and onion rings hand-cut daily. A mayo bar lets customers dress their own burgers to order.
The menu extends past the classic double cheeseburger to a lamb burger with feta and a chili-mint glaze, a turkey burger, a fried chicken sandwich, a falafel burger for vegetarians dressed in lemon mayo and harissa, a grilled cheese from chef Adam Biderman, and a Company Hot Dog, with sides like tater tots, cheese fries, sweet potato fries, and jalapeño slaw. A rotating weekly special and a milkshake of the month keep things moving alongside a full lineup of classic shakes, malts, and boozy versions.
