The Spot
Kira sits in the Central Business District as a Billy Blatty concept, the New Orleans hospitality operator also behind Sofia. The restaurant bills itself as "vibe dining" rather than fine dining, with a room designed by Open Invite that draws on courtyards, terraces, and late-night lounges for a sultry, social atmosphere meant for lingering over cocktails.

The kitchen works across Mediterranean and Japanese registers, pairing raw preparations with live-fire cooking. The menu moves from crudo and mezze to Wagyu cuts, whole fish, and vegetable dishes, built as bold, shareable plates rather than a traditional courses format. An omakase program is slated to launch in early 2026.

Kira also operates as a private event space, with configurations running from intimate gatherings up to several hundred guests.
