Chez Boët sits on the water in Crayton Cove, part of Old Naples, where Lisa and Philippe Boët have been part of the community since 1995 and have run the restaurant itself since 2003. The menu leans on French bistrot classics, prepared with an emphasis on locally-sourced ingredients, in a cozy dining room built for both everyday dinners and holiday gatherings.
The bar program is a full one — artisan cocktails, French apéritifs and digestifs, and a scotch and bourbon list running past 40 selections — paired with a wine list of French and American bottles, several sourced from grower-producer properties the Boëts know directly. A separate bar salon gives guests a spot to drink or eat outside the main room.
The restaurant has built a following among repeat local diners who point to its authenticity and to the Boëts' own presence in the room as central to the experience, alongside occasional notes of inconsistency in execution. The Boëts also run Voyage Boët, a boutique travel agency offering curated tours of France, and a small retail boutique of imported French goods connected to the restaurant.
