Morris Deli, Liquor & Catering has operated in the Highlands since 1987, near the corner of Bardstown and Taylorsville Road. The concept mixes three things in one building: a full-service deli, an old-fashioned general store, and a fully stocked liquor store, giving it the feel of a neighborhood institution rather than a single-purpose shop.
The deli side serves slow-smoked meats and barbecue, alongside a beer, wine, and liquor selection big enough to double as a bottle shop. A separate catering operation runs its own food and bar-service menus for events, apart from the day-to-day counter.
