Tim's Pizza opened in 1987 when Tim Pace started the shop in Independence, in Eastern Jackson County, Missouri; his brother Steve joined him shortly after, and the two have run it together ever since. It has become a fixture of the area, known for a thin, cracker-style crust and pizzas loaded heavily with toppings.
The menu runs through specialty pies like the House Special, Super, All Meat, Vegetarian, Hawaiian, Ballpark, and Mexican, alongside build-your-own pizzas, sandwiches such as the pizza sandwich and Polish sausage, and a short pasta list. A large private room is also available for parties and events.
