Star of India serves North and South Indian cuisine out of Ferndale, with spice blends ground in-house and dishes cooked to order across a mild-to-hot heat scale. The tandoori clay oven anchors much of the menu — tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, and tandoori chicken biryani all come out of it — alongside saag paneer, chana masala, samosas, and breads like garlic naan and puri. A weekday buffet lunch is also part of the rotation.
The menu runs wide beyond the staples, with sections for lamb and goat, seafood, Indo-Chinese dishes, and a full vegan list, plus mango lassi and other beverages to round things out.
