Four barbecue spots clear our bar in San Antonio. One stands above the rest.
Burnt Bean Company tops the list — a Michelin Bib Gourmand and James Beard Finalist out in Seguin, worth the drive. Behind it, three Damn Good joints carry Michelin Selected nods of their own: 2M Smokehouse on the South Side, Reese Bros on the Eastside, and The Barbecue Station up North Central. No stars yet in this city's barbecue scene, but the Selected tags say the inspectors are paying attention.
