El Chingon Philly leads with a Michelin Bib Gourmand and a James Beard Semifinalist nod, both at $$ in South Philadelphia. South Philly Barbacoa backs it up at $ with a James Beard Winner badge from 2022. Amá brings a 2026 Semifinalist nod to Fishtown at $$$$, and La Jefa Café rounds it out in Rittenhouse Square. Small list, but every spot on it earns the trip.
