St. Francis Winery & Vineyards has been farming Sonoma County fruit for more than 55 years, working over 400 acres of certified sustainable vineyards across the valley and surrounding mountains. Winemakers Katie Madigan and Chris Louton lead production alongside Vineyard Director Jake Terrell, with Chef Peter Janiak overseeing the culinary side of the property.
The winery built its reputation on pairing food with wine rather than pouring flights alone. Options range from a multi-course fine dining pairing menu built around the Artisan Collection wines to Secrets of Sonoma, a more casual seasonal mezze pairing held on the Vineyard Portico, plus tasting flights and a pedal-powered trolley tour through the Wild Oak Estate Vineyard.
A wine club underpins much of the operation, giving members early access, special pricing, and dedicated tastings — a loyalty program guests return to for years. The estate also hosts private events, dinners, and weddings against its Sonoma Valley setting, and has picked up national recognition, including a Newsweek mention, alongside recognition as one of the Bay Area's notable tasting rooms.
