The Spot
Chiriya's Thai Cuisine pairs two culinary traditions under one roof. Owner Chiriya Keawcharoen-Moore was born in Thailand and studied culinary arts at Kapiolani Community College, and the menu reflects both her native cooking and the Hawaiian influence she picked up along the way, now settled in Thunderbolt.

Curries — green and panang among them — sit alongside Pad Thai and Chiriya's Special Noodles, a signature stir-fry of egg noodles with broccoli, carrots, and cabbage. The Hawaiian side shows up in Huli Huli Chicken, a half chicken marinated in Hawaiian seasonings and topped with Thai basil sauce, and Kalua Pig & Cabbage, pork slow-roasted in banana leaves. A homemade cheesecake rounds out the dessert list.

The restaurant is a casual, a la carte operation serving lunch and dinner. Chiriya's was named a reader favorite in Savannah Magazine's 2025 city guide.
