Santa Fe Biscochito Company started four years ago as a home-based operation from Santa Fe native Richard Perea, then moved to an ice cream cart on the Historic Santa Fe Plaza before settling into its current brick-and-mortar shop on Sandoval Street.

The core product is the biscochito, New Mexico's traditional lard-based cookie, made in classic form as well as red and green chile-dusted versions. The shop has grown beyond cookies into gourmet coffee drinks, including a signature "Biscoccino," and artisanal ice cream in flavors like biscochito and chingón piñon.

Santa Fe Reporter named it one of the city's best in 2025.
