Christopher's Runaway Gourmay has operated as a fleet of food carts at fixed downtown Richmond corners — 10th & Main, 12th & Main, and 12th & Marshall near MCV — since 1985. It's a street-cart format built for quick weekday lunches rather than sit-down dining.
The menu runs on a small set of signature salads: Tarragon Chicken Salad with golden raisins, Lemon and Dill Tuna Salad with cucumber, and Creamy Shrimp and Pasta Salad in a vinegar-dill dressing. Everything is also available by the pound for larger orders.
