The Spot
Kabba's Kitchen brings Senegalese and Gambian cooking to Ladd's Addition, with the women running the kitchen drawing consistent praise for both the food and the welcome that comes with it.

The menu leans deep rather than wide: Fataya meat pies, an eggplant accompaniment, and thiou boulette — a stewed dish regulars keep coming back for — sit alongside a well-regarded house hot sauce and homemade hibiscus and ginger drinks. Diners tend to treat the menu as something to work through over multiple visits rather than settle on one order.

Kabba's Kitchen operates a second location on SE Division in Portland.
