The Spot
Càphê Roasters is Philadelphia's first Vietnamese specialty coffee roaster, sourcing beans from Vietnam, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific Islands and roasting them in small batches at its Harrowgate cafe. The business is minority-owned and woman-led, founded and run by Thu Pham.

The menu pairs that coffee program with banh mi and other food built with the same care, and regulars point to the cozy, community-anchored feel of the space and the staff running it as much as what's in the cup.

The James Beard Foundation named Càphê Roasters a 2025 semifinalist for Outstanding Wine and Other Beverages Program, and StarChefs included it among its 2024 Rising Stars in Philadelphia.
