The Café at Thistle Farms is a nonprofit social enterprise before it's anything else — a restaurant, tea service, and event space that exists to heal, empower, and employ women survivors of trafficking, prostitution, and addiction.
Lunch centers on comfort food: pot pie, chicken salad croissant, and rotating soups. The tea program runs on shared-trade tea, served both casually in-house and through formal tea parties with hors d'oeuvres. The space is built for lingering — a shaded back porch, a couch, a counter to set up at — and a chandelier overhead made of donated tea cups, each one given by a survivor, volunteer, or supporter.
Beyond daily service, the Café hosts showers, receptions, and business gatherings in its event spaces, with proceeds supporting Thistle Farms' work with women survivors.
