Animales BBQ Co. started out serving barbeque from a trailer before settling into a permanent building in the Harrison neighborhood, a few minutes from Target Field, International Market Square, and the Sculpture Garden. The new space is large — 12,500 square feet with a full-service bar, a live music stage, and a patio alongside the kitchen.
The room is built with families in mind, and regulars who followed the operation from its trailer days have stuck with it through the move. Live music runs on a regular calendar, from line dancing lessons to local bands, giving the space a draw beyond the smoker.
