La Sandwicherie began on South Beach's 14th Street in 1988, a French-owned sandwich counter built on daily-made ingredients, crisp baguettes, and soft croissants. Franz and Elise, who founded and still own the business, eventually grew it into the La Sandwicherie Group, expanding the format to several spots around Miami and Miami Beach.
The Brickell location operates at 60 SW 10th Street after relocating from its earlier Brickell address, with the restaurant stating this new spot is the only one affiliated with the La Sandwicherie name in the neighborhood. It carries over the same core format as the other locations: baguette and croissant sandwiches, salads, and smoothies, finished with the house vinaigrette — known on the counter as the Magic Sauce — left out for customers to pour on as heavily as they like.
