Soma Sushi sits in the Washington Avenue Coalition area near Memorial Park, serving Japanese sushi to a customer base that returns often enough to be called a regular crowd. The draw is fresh, high-quality fish alongside a handful of signature dishes that go beyond the standard sushi-bar lineup, set inside a room diners consistently describe as having strong atmosphere. Service has drawn mixed notes from regulars — some visits sharper than others — but it hasn't kept the base from coming back.
