The Spot
Le Emperor's menu moves across the breadth of Vietnamese cooking rather than narrowing in on one style. Pho comes in half a dozen forms — rare steak, brisket, meatball, chicken, shrimp, and vegan versions — alongside vermicelli bowls topped with grilled pork, shrimp, lemongrass beef, or roasted duck. Banh mi arrives on warm bread with truffle fries on the side, and mango, pineapple, and papaya salads get a tamarind-based dressing.

The kitchen also runs a heavier seafood and wok section: whole red snapper in tamarind sauce, crispy salmon over herb rice, curry prawns, and shaking beef tossed with arugula, tomato, and jalapeno.

Regulars describe a cozy, refined dining room with a level of consistency and tableside attentiveness that keeps them coming back, and staff who bring a bit of theater to service.
