Victoria's occupies a former bank building in historic downtown Oxford, Michigan, dating to 1878 — the original tin ceiling and bank vault remain part of the decor. The room is intentionally small: twelve tables and a ten-seat bar, styled after the small eateries and cafes of Europe with an eclectic mix of Paris bistro and American speakeasy touches.
Owner Victoria Connolly opened the restaurant in 1997 after working in some of Detroit's dining establishments, and has run it since as a fresh, seasonal kitchen paired with a curated wine and cocktail list. The bar also runs a cocktail-focused L'aperitif hour as part of its regular service.
