The Q occupies a big, bustling room on Washington Street in Chinatown, built around shared-table hot pot dining with a bar attached. The restaurant traces back to Little Q Hot Pot, which opened in Quincy, Massachusetts in 2006 before this location took shape.
Hot pot is the draw: fourteen broths are available, with the mala and Szechuan chili versions the ones most often ordered, served alongside handmade noodles and a choice of sliced meats. But the menu runs wider than that — a full sushi bar, steamer baskets of dim sum, and a rotation of noodle soups all operate alongside the hot pot program, plus Chinese, Japanese, and Thai dishes including Mongolian Hot Pot, Signature Crab Rangoon, Signature House Fried Rice, Kung Pao Chicken, chicken feet, and chilli fish. Bubble tea and a strawberry smoothie round out the drink list.
