The Olive Branch has been serving Cahaba Heights since February 2005, run by Rana Shunnarah and her family out of a dining room built around an open kitchen, with a patio for outdoor seating just behind the Summit shopping center.
The menu covers familiar Mediterranean ground — hummus and baba ghanouj dips, stuffed grape leaves, tabbouleh and Greek salads, gyro and falafel sandwiches — alongside house specialties like stuffed squash, baked kibbeh, and a tilapia plate served Mediterranean style. Kabob entrées range from beef tenderloin and lamb to shrimp, and a few American additions, like burgers and a Philly-style sandwich, round out the list.
It's built a following as a neighborhood regular over its years in Cahaba Heights and has been reviewed by The Infatuation.
