Ladybird Taco

Ladybird Taco brought the Austin breakfast taco tradition to Nashville and found the city ready for it. The concept is focused: house-made corn and flour tortillas produced daily, fresh fillings, proper coffee from Crema Coffee Roasters, and a menu built for breakfast and lunch only. No dinner service, no mission creep — just tacos and coffee done right.

The 12 South location at 2229 10th Ave S runs Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM, with extended hours on weekends through 4 PM. The East Nashville location at 2300 Riverside Drive runs every day from 7 AM to 4 PM. Both offer indoor seating and a few exterior tables, with parking generally easier than in most Nashville neighborhoods at those hours.

The menu covers breakfast tacos with eggs, cheese, and various proteins, plus lunch tacos that carry more weight, alongside salads and queso. The vegetarian options earned Ladybird a Best Veggie Taco designation in Nashville. The house-made tortillas are the foundation that makes the whole thing work — fresh, properly pressed, and a noticeable step above what most Nashville taco spots use.

Ladybird Taco has established itself as a neighborhood anchor in both 12 South and East Nashville — reliable, affordable, and genuinely good in a city that has historically been better known for hot chicken than breakfast tacos.
