Selden Standard tops the list at Delicious, a Midtown pasta-and-American room with a 2023 James Beard Finalist nod. Behind it, four Damn Good spots carry real range — Freya in New Center at $$$$, Mabel Gray out in Hazel Park with a 2022 Beard Semifinalist badge, Marrow in the Market, and Norm's Diner in West Village for something cheaper and looser. No Michelin stars here, but the Beard recognition runs three deep across the list.
